The idea to start my own podcast was rooted in my desire for connection and meaningful conversations with people. When I hit record for the first time, I had no idea it would become a mirror for my own fears and growth. I was carrying years of creative block, social anxiety, and the belief that my work had to be “ready” before it deserved to be seen. That mindset was the perfect recipe for silence. Starting Wearing Pants Again forced a different contract with myself: to begin, even when it felt uncomfortable, and to put my ideas and curiosity into action.
Over the past six months, I’ve come to recognize and appreciate how this podcast has allowed me to grow. Each interview played a role in that journey — building self-confidence, facing fears, and realizing that I have the power to challenge limiting beliefs. I’ve learned that good things can come from leaving your comfort zone, even if the steps are small.
Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started, but taking the first step will lead to clarity about what you want and what you’re capable of. Looking ahead, I’m excited to begin pursuing the creative projects I’ve been wanting to do and to continue learning along the way.
